Testimonials

"Elyse is an amazing pediatric PT. She has worked with my daughter for the past 6 years (since my daughter was a few months old). She is patient, kind, caring, and provides excellent care. My daughter always looks forward to seeing Elyse, which means she somehow makes the hard work of PT enjoyable and fun. She helped my daughter learn to walk, helped her learn to climb stairs, helped her learn to hop on one leg, the list goes on. And during every session, she helps foster a sense of confidence. Elyse is always thinking ahead and pointing out things that she notices that I should follow up with my daughter's doctors about. She checks in on how my daughter is doing outside of PT as well, and has really gotten to know us as a family. We really don’t have any other therapist like her - and we see quite a number of therapists! When we are confronted with a new challenge, she is always willing to go that extra mile for us - getting a second opinion about something or asking her network about a question we may have. We do intensive therapy sessions at NAPA in Boston, and always come home with a list of exercises that Elyse happily incorporates into her own set of exercises with my daughter. Having a child in therapy is never an easy road, but we feel very lucky to have Elyse on our team."

"Elyse worked with our twin boys in our home from the time they were 9 months old until they were 2.5 years old. Our boys were premature and had low muscle tone. They needed help strengthening their core so that they would be able to crawl and eventually walk. She was an absolute pleasure to work with and our sons’ made tremendous progress under her care. From the moment she set foot in our home, she quickly assessed our boys’ needs and took action. Her years of experience and expertise were evident as she worked with the boys and she explained so clearly to us their needs, goals and her plans to help them reach these goals. Her sessions were always productive, creative, well thought out, developmentally appropriate, engaging and fun for the boys. They didn’t even notice they were working on strengthening their muscles! Within a few weeks of working with Elyse, both boys were crawling with their tummies off of the floor and after a few months they were walking, jumping and running! Not only did the boys make incredible progress with Elyse, but they looked forward to their time with her. Elyse is incredibly personable, warm, patient, kind, gentle and gracious. She had an excellent understanding of child development and was able to make our boys feel comfortable and happy during their time with her. She got to know each boy so well and tailored her sessions to their individual needs. She also took into account their interests to make the sessions engaging. Elyse went out of her way to send us resources that could be helpful outside of our sessions and made great suggestions for ways we could work with them in between sessions. She was always so accessible, patient and communicative, taking the time to debrief us on their progress after each session and answering any questions. Since the time we have worked with Elyse, our boys have continued to grow in their gross motor skills and are now at age-appropriate levels in their development and we are so grateful to Elyse for shaping their developmental trajectory. Elyse has continued to stay in touch with us and check in on our twins’ development. We loved working with Elyse. She is a consummate professional and we highly recommend her!"

"Elyse came highly recommended and for good reason! We started working with her 2 years ago to help our son improve core strength and muscle tone. The sessions are fun, engaging, and extremely productive. Our son looks forward to them as Elyse finds ways to incorporate exciting activities and interesting topics into the exercise routines. We quickly saw improvements in our son's posture and strength and continue to see progress on a regular basis. Elyse communicates exceptionally well and is highly punctual. Would highly encourage anyone looking for a knowledgeable, energetic, and dedicated PT to work with "Coach E" as she's known in our family!"

"Elyse is an incredible physical therapist, and our family is eternally grateful for her services. My daughter had delays with sitting, standing independently, and walking. Elyse began working with her when she was 10.5 months old at the recommendation of our pediatrician. Elyse went above and beyond to help my daughter get to a point where she was able to walk by 18 months. Elyse came two to three times a week, to visit our family in Manhattan and Long Island to work on my daughter’s low core development and muscle tone. Elyse’s caring nature put my daughter at ease immediately. Beyond the in-person sessions, Elyse would share recommendations for exercise, helpful tools to promote muscle tone, and the right shoes to ensure my daughter was supported as we worked on her standing. Elyse continues to check in with our family to ensure my daughter’s development is on track. We attribute our daughter’s walking and strong core development to Elyse’s assistance and care, and I would highly recommend her to other families."
